The name Bambi comes from the protagonist of my favorite childhood animated film, "Bambi." I hoped to be as brave as Bambi, so I gave myself this name. I thoroughly enjoy chatting with all kinds of people, and each time I hear someone's story, it brings me new insights and inspiration. After graduation, I became a Mandarin radio host at a well-known local station. At Heyni, I've encountered many lovely children and an amazing team! Teaching Chinese to the children and witnessing their growing interest in both the language and Chinese culture brings me great joy and a sense of accomplishment!

At Heyni, I am delighted to explore the world of Chinese language with the children and delve into the mysteries of Mandarin together. In the future, I hope to accompany more children using lively and scientific teaching methods, sparking their interest in learning Chinese and helping them understand Chinese culture.

Since childhood, I have had a deep passion for education, firmly believing in the crucial role of early education in shaping individuals. Inspired by my mother's transformative experience with education, she chose to become a rural teacher, instructing in English and Chinese after graduating. My grandmother also navigated through tumultuous times with the foundation of a good education. Since 2009, I have been dedicated to Mandarin phonetics and teaching Chinese as a second language. I hold certificates in children's broadcasting and hosting, Level 1 Mandarin proficiency, and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
Years ago, I began developing the "Heyni Graded Curriculum" (Coconut Persimmon Series Graded Chinese Curriculum) and designed after-school Chinese club programs for two prominent private schools in Canada. Research and teaching in Chinese education have always been my passion. I aspire to provide higher-quality Chinese courses for more children, guiding them to acquire Chinese knowledge while fostering better character and discipline.

In 2010, I ventured into the field of language education, engaging in various aspects such as teaching, curriculum development, and course design. I have been involved in multiple language education projects at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, teaching students ranging from kindergarten to middle school. In order to better teach local Canadian children, I pursued further education in early childhood education in British Columbia, Canada. I am excited to accompany the children at Heyni, ensuring they enjoy learning Cantonese and acquire better language skills in this dialect.

I firmly believe in the teaching approach of the "萌发课程" (Sprouting Course), thinking that course design should be based on children's interests and Chinese proficiency. I deeply believe that every child is a powerful learner and deserves respect and support. As an educator, I believe it is my responsibility to pay attention to the needs of each child, providing them with sufficient care and support to appropriately cultivate their interest in Chinese and enhance their Chinese language skills. I believe that once children excel in Chinese, they can broaden their horizons using various Chinese materials and enter a more expansive world.
